City Perks was one of our first stops after arriving in St. Augustine, and it turned out to be the perfect little spot to unwind. We were looking for a cool, casual place to sit and have an early drink, and this place delivered. Their outdoor patio was relaxed and comfortable, made even better by the ambient music drifting over from a neighboring spot—it created just the right vibe. Inside, the shop had a fun selection of beer and wine for sale, and I even picked up a bottle of Sebastian port to take with me. Sam took great care of us during our visit—friendly, attentive, and just the right amount of chatty. All in all, a great stop if you’re looking for a laid-back drink in a pleasant setting with good service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
The coffee at this shop is nothing short of extraordinary! Sometimes, while traveling, I stop in St. Augustine just for this coffee shop. I’m absolutely obsessed with their Beached Bum coffee—it’s my all-time favorite! Every coffee I’ve tried there has been an exciting adventure for my taste buds. The flavors are truly out of this world, creating unforgettable experiences with each visit! I can hardly wait to go back and enjoy even more delicious drinks!
Amazing coffee spot! The coffee was truly excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I didn’t try the full menu, just some cookies—but they were delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great coffee and a relaxing vibe.
In the heart of historic downtown Saint Augustine , City Perks sits directly across the street from the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument/Fort, this is one of the only coffee shops in town that is open seven days a week. They use Monin syrups for their lattes, which is great for folks with allergies. And they offer alternative milks. They have a beautiful Case with wonderful treats, with a cozy atmosphere inside and outside seating that looks over to the fort and bay front.
I went to city perks this morning and I received one of the most incredible dining experiences i’ve ever had. The service was incredible. The ladies running the front, Grace and Kate, were welcoming, helpful, quick, and did it all with a smile. They made a delicious breakfast for me and my friend. The coffees were well-made and the atmosphere was calming. It’s incredibly cheap for the quality. I will 100 percent be coming back and bringing friends.
This place is quite large! The best coffee downtown in my opinion. They have so many offerings for flavors in coffee, styles of coffee and other snacks and drinks to go with it. Overall the coffee flavor and notes were amazing. We visited twice during our stay. We had the nitro cold brew both times and it was deliciously smooth. I had a decaf latte both times, the coconut and salt flavor and the honey and cinnamon flavor. Very delicious, but a bit sweet. I would ask for half sweet if you don't like too much sugar in your coffee. There is plenty of seating, plenty of entrances. They serve wine as well and have lots of seating inside and out. They have merchandise too. Parking is all paid and a pain in the butt.
When you are looking for a good coffee and frankly wine in St Augustine check out this spot! My husband tried hot latte and I had their spring drink with the cheesecake. Absolute loved it! Also met Karen - the owner, she was super sweet and friendly! We will be back for sure!!!
